March 19th, Cooking
Saturday is my "eating out" day. I may eat out other days in the week (ok, now that the kids are away at school, I rarely eat in!!) but we always go out on Saturday nights. So.... I didn't cook. I tried to take a pic of them cooking at the restaurant but people take a dim view of you taking their picture at work. lol So, after a WONDERFUL dinner at Texas Roadhouse with my dad & older brother, we came home & played cards with the kids. Afterwards, we watched the Blues play the Canucks. Since it was so late, we all decided we needed something to keep us awake. So I "cooked" popcorn!

This Becca's family NCAA Bracket. Her bracket that has Michigan State. Her bracket that has Michigan State going to the Final Four. Michigan State going to the Big Dance. Michigan State winning it ALL!!!! Combined with some other upsets, she doesn't have much of a chance...

March 15th, Gift
This is a gift. My daughter has a gift for drawing. This is her project for her Intensive Drawing class. I love it soooooo much!!! So, after she turns it in for a grade, it will be a GIFT for me!!!
March 12th, Abstract
Abstract. Apparently, it's an abstract idea for me. Had ALOT of trouble with this one. Even w/the help of my daughter who took fine arts & her friend who was an art minor.... So, this is as abstract as I could get....
Now, I really & truly believe this IS abstract but the pic didn't turn out very well. That's what I get for trying to take the pic as we were driving 35 mph.

March 9th, Everyday
New routine: feeding the cat, everyday! He was not processing the dry food very well so the vet suggested adding a moist food. Some days, all he does is lick off the gravy. lol
March 8th, Making
I haven't been able to find sugar free coconut cream pie at Walmart lately. Add this to the fact they stopped carrying s/f snickerdoodles, I'm at a loss for snacks. So,tonight, I made some s/f white cupcakes. They're not as good as sugar full cupcakes but they will do.

Driving home from dinner, there was a gaggle of deer trying to cross the road. We were stopped for them (so I could take a picture) but oncoming traffic was NOT! A couple of them almost got hit! I figured the were kind of neutral.

Dreary, gloomy day. It's not so bad, some days you can't even SEE the arch!!

I've been having problems getting to the Art lately. I WANT to but, just can't make myself. if I have to MAKE myself do it, maybe it's not fun anymore?? Got my new crayons out & tried a few things... Was ok at this point, it was AFTER that things got less arty... Once it's dry, I'll see what I can do with it or just toss it!

March 2nd, Good
My mother in law had a short in her bathroom light fixture. The left light bulb kept burning out. When Scott went to change it the last time, the whole thing disintegrated in his hand. So we got her a new fixture. But, the odd shades wouldn't fit. So, back to Lowes for these pretty shades! Now, she has light and it's all good.
