January 30th, Flat Lay
Now, I have to be honest! I had NO IDEA what "flat lay" meant. Smashed lays potato chip was the first thing that came to mind. Then my mind went dirty. Thanks to my well informed friends, it's taken a pic of items lying flat.... So simple huh?
This is my Christmas Craft Haul. I took them out of their boxes for this picture. Haven't played ONCE since Christmas. February has to be the time to remedy that!!!

My delightful work phone. What I LOVE about it is it seldom rings!! And usually, it's a personal call when it does. The #1 thing I love about my job is I don't have to answer too many calls. First time in my professional life that I've NOT had to answer calls!!!!

We went to the hockey game on Monday: white ice & the other (loser) team in white. Was an AWESOME game. We won & won BIG!! The team really needed that!

January 9th, Shoes
I FINALLY got around to replacing my Blitzens. I loved my first pair soooo much & just couldn't give them up no matter how worn they were & how little TREAD was left on them. But, just before Christmas, Crocs had a 1/2 off sale & even tho they aren't EXACTLY the same, I ordered these. They came a few days ago and as soon as I slipped them on, I realized that, like the other pair, they were lined in LOVE. Haven't taken them off yet!!! Got a new pair of leather Toms for Christmas & they are still in the box w/the tags on them... Eventually, I will wear them too!!

January 3rd, Water
What an appropriate subject for today. The entire Saint Louis area is experiencing flooding! The highway from Missouri to Alton is under about 3 feet of water. The flour mill is covered w/about 4 feet of water (about 6" less than the flood of 1973). The River Road to Grafton is closed because it's flooded. Water EVERYWHERE. But, despite all the devastation, it still has it's beauty! This is the Mississippi river at the lock & dam. Gorgeous sunlit reflected on the water!!! Beautiful!!!
and, the ducks were enjoying the extra water!
